The store with the candy apples you saw next door is kilwins where from the wythe candy & gourmet shop I sent a comment for you to make a video there.

Makes me sad they pretty much closed and became a turkey leg and burger place. My husband and I went there 9 years ago, and it was our favorite tavern out of all the others. It was more affordable and had this amazing crayfish soup that we couldn't get enough of. Not surprised hardly anyone has been to it, judging by the comments. Everyone pays more attention to King's Arms and Chownings.

Scott, Another fantastic video and thank you for digging into the details of the Geddy shop and home. A site we've visited many times but as always, I find your attention to detail and artistic view of these wonderful CW buildings fancinating, educational and entertaining. We were recently reminded there are 88 original houses, shops and structures nestled within the CW area. I thought of you immediately and what an interesting Quest it would be for you and Sarah to create a series of videos locating and exploring each of the 88 original sturctures. Maybe an in depth study on the more complicated ones and a compilation of the minor structures but which are still treasured original items to preseve and explore. Just a thought of a direction for you to add your magic to. Stay well and we can't wait for the next quest.

We went around Cade's Cove twice and did not see any sighting of a bear. We heard of a cub sighting. Honestly was very disappointed.

The ginger cakes are the best!! First had them as a Girl Scout in 1960 while on a trip with our troup!!! Still bake them at Christmas today!!!! Williamsburg is a family favorite place always!!!❤❤❤

When I worked at Colonial Williamsburg 45+ years ago the interpreters at the Geddy said the "Geddy spoon" was found by a child walking through the garden.

I’ve been to the smokies, but I never saw any bears nor been to caves cove, but when I was in Yellowstone, I saw one black bear with brown markings on it on the way to mammoth hot springs.

Alot of Taverns in Williamsburg back then...

I did not investigate this I just knew off the top of my hat that the leaf you said was a cool leaf is actually a sycamore tree leaf... I think somewhere in my childhood I had some Botanical lessons go figure. 😊

I was born nearby Williamsburg and visit annually. We visited regularly when I was a child and I’m sure it stirred my interested in history. It is amazing that these important buildings of the past were intact during the revolutionary and civil wars! It’s exciting to see there is constant excavations in the historical are and all of the wonderful findings to add to the collection. Wonderful video, voice and music!😊

I love williamsburg. I used to go visit my cousins and my one cousin who loved it as much as me and I would go to Gettysburg every time we came to visit .that might be once a month. I know when we had to give a talk in school about what we done on summer vacation, I told them that I had watched the movie at the visitor center 17 times I always planned my tours according to the bathroom stops in Williamsburg

I know when I see a video from this channel that it will be excellent in both content and videography, with outstanding voice over. Have you ever considered making some type of historical/colonial documentary that could be sold to schools, libraries and anyone that has a desire to learn more of our heritage? Also, travel sites and Virginia tourism. Many options and possibilities. I'm just tossing that out there. I really feel that this should be shared and enjoyed by more than RUclips. Hope this finds both you and Sarah well and happy! I hope you both had a wonderful 4th of July!

We saw 13 bears the last time we were in Cades Cove. It was a rainy day, so don't let that discourage you from going. We also have begun a practice of donating $1 for each bear we see -- plus extra! Have fun and enjoy!

We took our 6 yr old daughter in there today and she got really scared. Not too bad tho. It was a good time!
